How does the Kikoff Card work?

The Kikoff Credit+ Cash Card (also known as the Secured Card or Credit Builder Card) combines all the benefits of both credit and debit cards without any of the risks. You get to build your credit history and increase your credit score by simply using the Kikoff Credit+ Cash Card in your lives without having to worry about ever overspending. The Kikoff Credit+ Cash Card only allows you to spend as much money as you have in the account connected to the card, and it does not charge interest or fees.

The minimum deposit requirement in order to be reported to the major credit bureaus (to help you build credit) is $50 for the Kikoff Credit+ Cash Card (also known as the Secured Card or Credit Builder Card). With the Kikoff Credit+Cash Secured Card, the amount of money you move to that account is how much you can spend with the card. For example, if you deposit $100 into the account, then you may spend up to $100 on the card. In the same way as you would use a debit card, the Kikoff Credit+ Cash Card will not allow you to spend more than what is available in your secured account. This way, you can rest assured that you will not overspend and be able to build your credit safely.

If you've signed up and been approved for the Kikoff Credit+ Cash Card, your virtual card is available to you in the Kikoff app at any time. To receive a physical card in the mail, you first need to deposit $50 to your Kikoff Cash Account via direct deposit or bank transfer.
